The Baptist University's Faculty and Staff Union has urged the institution to "seriously reflect" on the publication of a biased teaching guide on national education. The guide was published by the university's Institute for Contemporary China Studies after being commissioned by the National Education Services Centre. It highlights the benefits of one-party rule in China, as opposed to the kind of multi-party democracy practised in the United States.
