US continuing Standard Chartered probe

Federal agencies in the United States say they'll continue to investigate the British bank, Standard Chartered, over claims it laundered money for Iran, after the bank reached a settlement with regulators in New York. The US Treasury and Justice Departments, and the Federal Reserve, said they would probe allegations that Standard Chartered hid billions of dollars worth of illegal transactions with Iran.
