The student activist group, Scholarism, says one of its volunteer members has been barred from entering the mainland.

Scholarism said on its Facebook page that the member was stopped in Shenzhen yesterday as he was making a private visit.
It said the member was accused of taking part in "activities against national security" and was refused entry.
Scholarism convenor Joshua Wong said this might affect efforts to reach out to state leaders.
Alex Chow, from the Hong Kong Federation of Students, said Beijing had acted unreasonably.
He said it was still up in the air whether the students would be able to eventually meet with state
leaders in Beijing.
