Britain accused of of violating international law

A group of pro-Beijing lawyers have accused Britain of violating international law by trying to send a delegation to Hong Kong to examine the UK's relations with the city.

The CA Legal Exchange Foundation said Beijing was 'absolutely correct' in banning the lawmakers from entering Hong Kong, as their visit would be a show of support for the pro-democracy protests.

The foundation said it would write to the United Nations to express its concerns over the matter.
