西灣河近年走向中產化，它的原有特色已被慢慢淡化。位於西灣河的大石街是一條毫不起眼的小街道，但這裡曾經有著一個個動人故事。節目正是要為那終將逝去的歷史留下紀錄，緬懷香港五十年代的庶民生活。

 

Sai Wan Ho has become middle class in recent years. Its original characteristics have faded gradually. Tai Shek Street in Sai Wan Ho is a very ordinary tiny street, but it was filled with touching stories in the old days. The aim of the programme is to record the history that will be lost eventually and bring back the memories of Hong Kong in the 1950s.
