Professor Peter Singer from Princeton University will present arguments against beliefs of equal value of human life, brain death and whether it is always wrong for a doctor intentionally to take a human life. Professor Singer was invited by Hong Kong Ethics Lab and HKU's Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit to give a talk entitled “Life and Death Decisions in Medicine”.
