Tariff updates / Return of Myanmar rescuers / Jelly cup ban proposals / Earth Forum
In the first segment of Wednesday’s Backchat, we looked at the latest tariffs-related development and discussed their implications for Hong Kong and the surrounding region.
We then heared from members of the Hong Kong search and rescue team, who recently returned to the city after assisting with recovery efforts in quake-hit Myanmar.
After the news, we talked to a paediatrician on proposals to ban certain jelly cups that are popular among children.
And in the last part of the show, we were joined by one of the organisers of this year’s Earth Forum, which brought together leaders from various sectors to discuss how Hong Kong can enhance its role as a sustainable finance centre.
