Lando Norris' first F1 World Drivers' Championship win / Wig requirement dropped for some UK courts / Under-16s social media ban kicks-off in Australia / Hong Kong’s Taoist festivals

On Friday's programme, we talked about McLaren's Lando Norris' first F1 World Drivers' Championship win. A former racing driver discussed the significance of Norris becoming Britain's first world champion since Lewis Hamilton.

We then turned our attention to the courtroom, where barristers in the UK have won the right to ditch a traditional headpiece: the wig.

After the break, we took a closer look at how people are coping with the world's first social media ban that was earlier implemented in Australia, targeting under 16s.

And finally, we concluded the show by talking to a historian about a once-in-a-decade Taoist festival to ward off angry spirits.

Eco-tourism development plans / Macau policy address

    Presenters:Raymond Yeung and Mike Rowse

On Tuesday’s Backchat, we discussed eco-tourism development in Hong Kong.

Authorities have invited interested parties to submit development proposals for eco-tourism sites across the territory, including the former Lamma quarry site, Tsim Bei Tsui, and Pak Bak in the future Northern Metropolis. Plans include the construction of low-density luxury housing and a marina, in an effort to enhance Hong Kong’s appeal as a coastal destination.

Developers have until July 2 to express their interest. How much potential does Hong Kong have in becoming a prime eco-tourism destination, and what more needs to be done to facilitate its development?

After 9:30, we talked about Macau's latest policy address.

    9:05am-9:30am: Eco-tourism development blueprint
9:05am-9:15am: Christine Au, Principal Assistant Secretary (Planning & Lands), Development Bureau
