Better protecting investors from scams / Hiking survival tips

    主持人:Andrew Work and Car Ha

On Friday’s Backchat, we look at how investors can better protect themselves in the brave new world of cryptocurrency.

Crypto-related scams have been in the headlines recently, after scammers purportedly stole HK$3.5 million in virtual assets from 11 HongKongers.
They were allegedly sent fraudulent text messages that gave the scammers full access to their accounts on Binance – the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange platform.
And this comes as other alleged fraud victims involving the local cryptocurrency trading platform JPEX call on the government to step up the regulation of investment courses – after they accused course instructors of misleading them into investing in the unlicensed platform.
How can people better protect their crypto assets? What information do they need? Who can they trust?
After 9:45am, we get survival tips from a hiking expert, after two teenagers were lost and found this week in the countryside.
