    Donald Trump's victory

On Friday's Backchat, Global Focus talks about Donald Trump's return to the White House.
The 78-year-old secured over 270 Electoral Colleges and 50.9 percent of the popular votes against incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris' 48.6 percent and is on track to become the first Republican president to win the popular vote in 20 years.
From his felony conviction over a hush money payment to his stance on the January 6 Capitol insurrection, Mr Trump's campaign was riddled by controversies but this did not deter his supporters.
Immigration curbs and trade tariffs are also expected to be high on the president-elect's agenda, although questions remain as to how protectionist the upcoming US administration will be.

Mental health among ethnic minorities / Railway heritage preservation

    主持人:Andrew Work and Rainbow Leung

On Friday's Backchat, we're talking about mental health among ethnic minorities.

A new survey shows that almost 30% of ethnic minorities were at risk of developing mental disorders, a trend the survey organiser, Hong Kong Christian Service, attributes to factors including a lack of awareness on where to seek help, cultural barriers as well as time constraints.
To help tackle the problem, the group has teamed up with the Chinese University to launch a multilingual online platform to provide ethnic minorities better access to a range of mental health resources.
So how useful will this new online platform be? What more can be done to support ethnic minorities here?
After 9:45, we talk about railway heritage preservation.

9:05am-9:45am: Mental health among ethnic minorities
