    Donald Trump's victory

On Friday's Backchat, Global Focus talks about Donald Trump's return to the White House.
The 78-year-old secured over 270 Electoral Colleges and 50.9 percent of the popular votes against incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris' 48.6 percent and is on track to become the first Republican president to win the popular vote in 20 years.
From his felony conviction over a hush money payment to his stance on the January 6 Capitol insurrection, Mr Trump's campaign was riddled by controversies but this did not deter his supporters.
Immigration curbs and trade tariffs are also expected to be high on the president-elect's agenda, although questions remain as to how protectionist the upcoming US administration will be.
