From the Rugby Sevens next March to Coldplay’s concert in April, 2025 will also mark the first year of the new Kai Tak stadium, with a capacity of 50,000 seats.

Top Talent Pass Scheme expansion calls / PolyU's mental health scheme

    主持人:Danny Gittings and Janice Wong

On Thursday's Backchat, we're talking about proposed changes to the Top Talent Pass Scheme, which has already received more than 70,000 successful applicants.

Authorities are considering expanding the list of 184 institutions whose graduates can apply for a two-year work visa without any need to find a job beforehand. Some lawmakers are also calling on the government to impose an age limit and target industries with talent shortages.
So is it time to refine the scheme? Should some sectors be prioritised? And will this have an impact on the local workforce?
After 9:45, we learn more about PolyU's new mental health training programme.
