    Backchat

On Tuesday's Backchat, we're talking about the ongoing mega events programme.

Financial Secretary Paul Chan says the aim is for Hong Kong to forge greater connection between major sports events, festivals and conferences, and encourage so-called "workcations", whereby business people visiting the city extend their stays along with their families.
Writing in his weekly blog ahead of the 9th Belt and Road Summit which begins on Wednesday, Mr Chan said that he expected mega events to increase revenue, while acknowledging that geopolitical factors remained a hindrance in getting back visitors from certain markets.
After 9:45, we talk about the history of squatter areas, as Hong Kong is to lose one of its last remaining squatter villages.]
