In this week's episode, we will talk about energy security and Sustainable Development Goal 7, which is one of 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the UN General Assembly in 2015. First up we will have Dr. Farhad Taghizadesh-Hesary, Chief Economist at Climate Finance Asia. Dr. Farhad was invited by CarbonCare InnoLab to give a talk entitled “Ensuring SDG7: Strategies to Address the Energy Crisis and Achieve Energy Security for All”.

In this week's episode, we will be joining Keun Lee, Distinguished Professor of Department of Economics at Seoul National University to talk about his new book, Innovation-Development Detours for Latecomers: Managing Global-Local Interfaces in the De-Globalization Era. He will discuss what needs to be done by developing countries to overcome the latecomers’ disadvantages of their entry barrier at the middle-income stage. Professor Lee was invited by the Asia Global Institute to give a talk, entitled “The innovation-development detours for latecomers.”
