Andrew Freris, CEO of Ecognosis Advisory, tells Nitin Dialdas it would be counter-intuitive to cut interest rates when the US economy is seemingly doing well, so he doesn’t see a move from the Fed until after the election. Adrian Zuercher, Co-Head Global Asset Allocation and Co-Head Global Investment Management APAC, UBS Global Wealth Management CIO, says the US economy has slowed compared to last year, explaining why he expects to see a cut in September and at least three cuts this year.
