Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

The Pop Fugitives return after a week off for a new Sunday Escape, featuring a fortnight’s worth of brand new music, including tracks from Dent May, Maya Hawke and Vampire Weekend, plus excerpts from a veritable bounty of new albums which include LPs from Chromeo, Nadine Shah, Grandaddy, Lime Garden, William Doyle, Real Estate, IDLES and plenty more besides.
On top of all the new music, there’s an interview with Chemtrails courtesy of Carolyn, as well as a new cover version from Lana Del Rey, and another band you may have forgotten about sweeps the nation. Paul’s come up with a tricky new Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz too, and there will of course be (hopefully nice and freshly imported) biscuits... which had better be GOOD!
