Presenters：Paul Haswell and Carolyn Wright
Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

Paul and Carolyn are both back in the studio after a couple of weeks away, with a Sunday Escape absolutely packed with new music. This includes music from eagerly awaited new albums from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Kishi Bashi, Illuminati Hotties, Fontaines DC, and Hamish Hawk plus a load of new singles which include records from Geordie Greep, Sofie Royer, Lucius, Orville Peck and Dana Gavanski.
There’s more brand new music than can fit into one show, basically, but there’ll be a few older tracks too as part of the week’s Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz, and this week the clues to the answer are rather cryptically hidden in plain sight. Plus, all the usual chat, and of course biscuits.

Paul and Carolyn are back for another Sunday Escape, and this week the show includes brand new music from John Grant, Belle and Sebastian, Menomena, Yannis & The Yaw, Cassandra Jenkins, and Blitzen Trapper, as well as tracks from new albums by Pillow Queens and A Certain Ratio. There’ll be plenty more music besides too.
Joining the Pop Fugitives in the studio after 10 is Jo Hayes of Habitat for Humanity, an organisation dedicated to ensuring that everybody has a proper place to live. She’ll be talking about the organisation’s work, as well as some forthcoming events, and most likely one or two of her favourite songs. There’s also a new Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz and of course biscuits. Maybe even a double helping of biscuits!
