Paul and Carolyn (AKA the Pop Fugitives) are plotting to make their Escape every Sunday morning between 9 and 1.
Join them on the Sunday Escape to hear the best in new music, including three tracks from their album of the week, along with a carefully curated selection of classics, plus interviews with guests from all over the city and beyond. There’s also occasional live music in the studio and all the details of upcoming music events in Hong Kong.
On top of all that is “Biscuit Review”, now a Sunday Escape institution, a feature perfectly designed to complement the most eclectic mix of music on Radio 3.

I Guess Time Just Makes Fools Of Us All
The new music drought has well and truly come to an end in time for this week’s Sunday Escape, and Paul and Carolyn will be playing brand new music from The Hard Quartet (a new band featuring Stephen Malkmus, Matt Sweeney, Jim White, and Emmett Kelly), Shutups, Porridge Radio, Trace Mountains, Laura Jane Grace, Antony Szmierek, Jamie XX and The Avalanches, Haley Heynderickx, and loads more.
On top of that, there’s also an indie cover of an Adele song as this week’s Sunday Cover Supplement, and a self-indulgent eight and a half minutes or so, courtesy of Paul, because Father John Misty has released a brilliant new song which is … eight minutes and thirty-five seconds long.
Plus (if there’s still time), there’s another rather cunning Super Clever Music Mystery Quiz, and more delicious biscuits from distant shores.
