Welcome to the Tuesday Brew Brew. Phil's back today, and so a HUGE "thanks" goes to James Ross for some fantastic Brewing over the past two weeks. We're in feet-first at 12.10 with our biz futurist Morris Miselowski, who joins us from Melbourne. Today in 2002, American aviator and all-round bright spark, Steve Fossett, became the first person to fly (float?!) around the world in a balloon. There's no shortage of hot air these days (the real kind) so how might that enable advances in naturally powered travel? Let's see. Jarrod Watt is away this week, so there will be a little less hot air (the other kind) on today's show. At 1.25, Dr. Merrin Pearse will be joined by Dr Liew Jia Huan to talk about doing research in freshwater habitats in Tasmania and Hong Kong. Jia Huan recently moved from Lingnan University to University of Tasmania, where he is a Lecturer in Freshwater Animal Ecology, and it's great to have him back on The Brew.
