Welcome to your Thursday Brew. We'll jump straight in after the news with another collection of tracks that are all... 'Brewed in HK'. Mark Rawson has been out there collecting, and he'll be with us to introduce you to another slice of homegrown talent. At 12:40 we're off to the opera! We'll welcome Peter Gordon, who's the Artistic Director of operalab, who essentially take well known large operas, shrink them (seriously so), and take them out to all sorts of cool venues around town. Today he'll invite you to his micro-version of the Puccini classic... La Boheme. This coming weekend we'll be covering the 2024 Hong Kong Open (that's golf) in some depth with Danny Hicks. Even though the event starts in earnest today, the rain really hasn't helped. Danny will be with us at 1:25 for a 'Sports and All' Extra, live from Fanling. Join him on Facebook live.

Oh, what a night, mid November back in 24! Well, here we are again for your Thursday Brew. Mark Rawson will be with you right after the news with today’s selection of 'Brewed in HK' tracks. As always, everything you will hear in the first part of the show is completely created by Hong Kong talent. At 1:25 this afternoon we'll be opening the new Brew veterinary department. Yes, we’ve been hiring! Dr. David Gething is finding himself extremely busy these days so cannot be with us every week. So, it’s wonderful to be able to add the one and only Dr. Owen Swan (the Senior Surgeon at Victory Animal Hospital) to our crack vet team. Owen joins us for the first time this afternoon.
