Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Happy Wednesday and welcome to The Brew. New York correspondent Tracy Quan is taking a handful of weeks off, so we'll hear from her again in 2025. Philippe Dova, however, is standing by with some top French Christmas stuff at 12:40 today, live from Singapore. Then at 1:25, it’s your pre-Christmas 'classical' music day with Paul Archibald, who is Bach… in London (geddit?). Yes, he resisted the temptation to hit you with sleigh rides and the like, and decided that we will spend 20 minutes listening to the master of Christmas, and indeed all kinds of music... JS Bach.
