Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Philippe Dova - Khmer food / Paul Archibald - Classical Music
Today on The Brew we’ll be finding out all about wonderful Khmer food with our friend, RTL France’s Philippe Dova, who reports in today from Siem Reap in Cambodia. Join him at 12:40. It’s our first ‘classical’ music day of 2025, with in-house virtuoso Paul Archibald. Paul joins us from Bangkok at 1:25 with an another selection of music from the great masters, this time all to do with new years gone by.

Welcome to Monday on The Brew. Tim Huxley will be with you for some bruum bruum at 12:10. The gruelling Dakar Rally is ON, and we'll have a special Brew report from one of the competitors, Dutch sports television star and legendary driver, Tom Coronel. It's Golden Globes night in the USA, and so (yes, you guessed it...) James Marsh will be with you at 12:40 for a Marshy Movie Time Extra, to discuss the winners. At 1:25 we're off to Ho Chi Minh City to find out about New Year's Eve (and stuff) in Vietnam, with Neil Runcieman. Join him, and Marshy, on Facebook live if you can.
