This month we explore the arts and culture of the Czech Republic or Czechia with its Consul General in Hong Kong, Ms. Klára Jurčová.
We do talk a lot about music, after all, “in music is the life of the Czechs” - the words of Bedřich Smetana. 2024 is The Year of Czech Music and its central theme is the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Smetana's birth. Join us to see just how his music, and that of other Czech composers, connect to other art forms in this 5-part series.
