As we continue looking at symbiotic relationships between visual art and classical music, this week we focus on the French naïve painter ANDRE BAUCHANT. His admirers and patrons included Diaghilev, who in 1928, commissioned him to design costumes and sets for the ballet Apollon Musagète, to music by Stravinsky.
