RTHK On The Go is created by the New Media Unit of RTHK. iPhone users may download the application from iPhone App Store and install it in iPhone and iPod Touch free of charge. With the application installed, users may enjoy live radio programmes, check out instant news, photo news and video news, download our podcast highlights, get the weather forecast, etc. with Wi-Fi or mobile phone networks anytime, anywhere. |

RTHK On The Go’s functions include listening to live radio programmes (Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5 and Putonghua Channel), access to instant news (Local, Greater China, International, Finance and Sports), photo news and video news, as well as listening to/watch the 10 newest episodes of some 30 RTHK podcast programmes available at Podcast Station and getting weather forecast information, etc. |

How to listen to RTHK’s live radio programmes through RTHK On The Go?
Users have to use Wi-Fi or mobile phone networks to listen to RTHK’s live radio programmes on iPhone and iPod Touch. In case live radio programmes are unavailable at RTHK On The Go, please check the connection of your Wi-Fi or mobile phone network. |

How to update instant news, photo news, video news and weather information at RTHK On The Go manually?
Users only have to scroll down the pointer at any of these pages in the display and the time and date of "Last Update" will be shown. Press on it and the relevant information will be updated accordingly.
For the weather information, users have to press on the  at the "weather forecast page's top-right corner. The weather forecast information will be updated.

Can I browse “Instant News” in “Offline” mode?
Users only have to scroll down the pointer at the “Instant News” page in the display and the “Download” button will appear at the page’s top-right corner. Press on it and the news will be downloaded for offline browsing. |

How to watch/listen to RTHK’s podcasts through RTHK On The Go?
Users may choose  at RTHK On The Go, then the application will show all available podcasts and their categories
 . If users want to watch/listen to the programme immediately, they may choose  , or otherwise. The relevant audio/visual file will then be downloaded to the users’ device and users may watch/listen to the programme anywhere, anytime.
Upon completion of the download, the icon of that episode of podcast will change from to press on it and the podcast will be played.
Users may watch/listen to the content of any downloaded podcast under “Downloads”. |

There are the icons “Play Online” and “Download” for those programmes in Podcasts. What is the difference?
If users choose, the content played will not be saved in their devices;
If users choose , the relevant content will be saved in their devices. They can watch/listen to such podcasts even if their devices are disconnected from Wi-Fi or mobile phone networks. |

How to delete downloaded podcast contents?
Users may delete individual or all podcast contents under the “Downloads” page. |

How to change the displayed language?
Users only have to press  and the application will show the language option prompt which includes the choices of Chinese and English.

How to change the font size?
Users may press A-/A+to change the font size when they are browsing instant news contents.

The app keeps crashing. What can I do?
Users are suggested to uninstall the app. Please restart the phone and install the app again. |
