2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road Initiative." Hong Kong, as a functional platform for the Belt and Road, plays an important role in the initiative. Co-building the Belt and Road not only involves policy communication, infrastructure connectivity, trade facilitation, and financial integration but also entails people-to-people connectivity. By enhancing cultural exchanges and promoting a spirit of friendly cooperation, deeper regional development can be achieved.

"Journey Along the Belt and Road" is jointly produced by the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau "the Belt and Road Office" and RTHK. The program tells the stories of young people from countries related to the Belt and Road who come to Hong Kong for education and employment. Its aim is to help the general public, especially the younger generation, gain a better understanding of the Belt and Road, and increase their interest and knowledge about it.
