自19世紀加拿大聯邦政府建立以來，當地的印第安土著就一直受到迫害。他們從小被強行送進寄宿學校，接受文化及歷史洗腦，部分兒童更遭受虐待、性侵，甚至殺害。這些經歷成為了他們及其家人一生的烙印，而這段歷史就為加拿大留下一大污點。

今集，加拿大安大略省保留區的原住民，會親述他們當年在寄宿學校的種種遭遇及不公平對待，還有他們如何與政府角力，積極為自己的民族爭取應有的權利。

The Indians or First Nations in Canada have been treated with contempt since the birth of the Canadian Confederation in the 19th century. In the past, children of the Indians were forcibly sent to residential schools where they had to "kill off the Indian in them", and some were abused, sexually assaulted and even killed there. These traumatic experiences have left a scar in the lives of the victims and their families as well as on the history of Canada.

This programme visited the ex-residents of the reserves in the Ontario and the Northwest Territories of Canada and followed the cultural, political, and legal battle of these new avengers.
