在法國巴黎，有五個城市人投身做牧羊人。他們的羊群位於維爾達納茲的大學校區，這個近郊的位置，令他們既可親近大自然，又可享受城市的方便。

幾年來，這五個城市牧人帶著羊群，從一個城市遷移到另一個城市。他們順應環境，發展出新的社交聯繫，開創以羊群服務社區的新概念。這種流動放牧的生活，善用郊區與蘊含自然的城市地貌，勾起城市人另類生活方式的遐想。

There are five shepherds, they live in St Denis and Aubervilliers where they raise sheep. Their herd is located on the University of Villetaneuse campus. They live downtown while being close to nature. From one city to another, from one transhumance to another, they allow us to discover this new trade, Urban Shepard.

Not only does this practice concern the breeding, it pushes the limits between city and countryside. The shepherds adapt with their environment thus creating a new social link. They invent new “services with sheep”. Their wandering life makes it possible to gaze differently at the suburbs and the unsuspected appropriateness of nature in the city, perhaps even imagine living there differently…
