Rivers are the life vein of Africa’s arid landscapes - offering respite from the heat and thirst that goes hand in hand with the unforgiving climate that rules these regions. But, for the life they give, they also take away. These rivers are ruled by fearsome creatures who take no prisoners. Hippos, crocodile, water monitors, fish eagles- but a few of the heavyweights who patrol these waters.
