This episode will begin with a brief introduction of the concept of ESG investing, especially in emerging markets, how nations and cities do their planning in terms of driving ESG, including financing ESG initiatives.  We can bring in KSA’s Vision 2030 plan as well as HK’s ESG financing ecosystem.

We will then focus on Sustainability/ ESG – one of FII’s key focus for investment. We will look at how FII invests in these priorities in accordance with ESG principles.This episode will feature several successful investee companies* under FII which are based in the Middle East: (i) RedSea, an agritech company (KSA) (ii) Seafood Souq, a foodtech company (Dubai).

The Future Investment Initiative Institute (FII) holds an annual grand investment conference in Saudi Arabia, where global political, economic issues, and major trends are explored. The conference attracts participants from prominent financial institutions and government officials worldwide, making it one of the largest investment conferences globally. Vincent Tang attended the conference in Saudi Arabia to engage with the FII management and discuss the institute's efforts in promoting positive impact on humanity across different domains. As Hong Kong prepares to host the PRIORITY Asia Summit in December 2023, Vincent interviewed the key individuals who played a crucial role in making the summit in Hong Kong a reality.
