World Snooker Grand Prix will be held for the first time outside the UK from March 4th to 9th at the Kai Tak Arena. It’s also a first for World Snooker Grand Prix to have as many as 5,000 spectators. The total prize money has also gone up from 380,000 British pounds in the previous year to 700,000, which is a record high. Only the top 32 ranked players of the season are qualified, so every one of them is a star. The lineup includes world number one Judd Trump, “The Clown” Mark Selby from England, Australia’s “Melbourne Machine” Neil Robertson, Wales’s “Golden Left Hand” Mark Williams, Si Jiahui and Ding Junhui.

Hong Kong Sevens will be held from 28th to 30th March at the Kai Tak Stadium, accommodating a much larger audience. It’s also the first international sporting event at the new 50,000-seat venue. Organised by the Asian Film Awards Academy, the Asian Film Awards in its 18th year and will continue to be held in Hong Kong this year. 30 outstanding films from 25 countries and regions will compete for 16 awards. Hung Shing Festival is on the 13th in the second month of the lunar calendar.
