    In its third year, Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival will run from mid-November to next January. This year’s theme is “Joy Again, Gather”, with Yim Tin Tsai as the centre and reaching out to Sharp Island, Kau Sai Chau and High Island. The public can get together through art.

      World Snooker Grand Prix; Flower Show

      World Snooker Grand Prix will be held for the first time outside the UK from March 4th to 9th at the Kai Tak Arena. It’s also a first for World Snooker Grand Prix to have as many as 5,000 spectators. The total prize money has also gone up from 380,000 British pounds in the previous year to 700,000, which is a record high. Only the top 32 ranked players of the season are qualified, so every one of them is a star. The lineup includes world number one Judd Trump, “The Clown” Mark Selby from England, Australia’s “Melbourne Machine” Neil Robertson, Wales’s “Golden Left Hand” Mark Williams, Si Jiahui and Ding Junhui.

      “The Forbidden City and The Palace of Versailles: China-France Cultural Encounters in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries” special exhibition, PANDA GO! FEST HONG KONG

      The special exhibition will kick off on December 18 at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Nearly 150 treasures from two world heritage sites, the Forbidden City in Beijing and the Palace of Versailles in Paris, will be on display.
