The annual Clockenflap will take place at Central Harbourfront from November 29 to December 1. It’s Hong Kong’s largest and most representative outdoor music and arts festival. This year’s Clockenflap continues to be a star-studded gathering. Superstars include blues rock legend Jack White, the former frontman of The White Stripes, French electronic music group Air who performed at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics earlier, and British rock legend Suede.
Hong Kong Tennis Open will run from December 29 to January 5 at Victoria Park Tennis Centre Court. Several internationally renowned men’s tennis players will compete, including Coleman Wong, the world’s highest-ranked man in Hong Kong’s men’s singles history
Legends Assemble / Real Madrid – Legends vs Barcelona Heroes will be held at the Hong Kong Stadium on December 20. Classic players from two La Liga squads from different eras will once again put on their jerseys and face off against each other.
Starting from December 21, The Big Bounce will be stationed on the lawn of the Art Park in the West Kowloon Cultural District. The Big Bounce world tour from the US has been held in many cities in America, Canada and Australia, and Hong Kong is its first stop in Asia.
The exhibition presents nearly 150 treasures from the Palace Museum and the Palace of Versailles, highlighting the rich history of mutual respect, inspiration, and exchanges in the realms of culture, arts, science, and more between the Forbidden City and Versailles — two distinguished World Heritage Sites — during the latter half of the 17th century and throughout the 18th century.
In its third year, Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival will run from mid-November to next January. This year’s theme is “Joy Again, Gather”, with Yim Tin Tsai as the centre and reaching out to Sharp Island, Kau Sai Chau and High Island. The public can get together through art.
The second Hong Kong Drum Festival - One Beat, One World: Connecting Through the Drum - Drum Carnival and 5G Live Concert will take place on December 8 on the Great Lawn of the Art Park of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
This year’s annual Hong Kong Streetathon will offer special village delicacies such as big bowl feasts, steamed glutinous rice cake and more for the first time at Cha Kwo Ling Park and refreshment stations.
